Intelligent Robotics and Vision Lab
Welcome to IRV-LAB! Our lab is part of the Department of Computer Engineering. Our lab focuses on key areas such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Reinforcement Learning: Developing and analyzing algorithms that enable agents to learn optimal behaviors through interaction with complex environments, with applications ranging from game playing to real-world control tasks.
- Robotics: Designing autonomous robotic systems and control architectures that leverage learning-based methods for perception, planning, and adaptive decision-making in dynamic, unstructured settings.
- Computer Vision: Creating advanced perception models that extract semantic and geometric information from images and video, enabling tasks such as object recognition, scene understanding, and vision-guided control.
- Multi-modal Sensor Fusion: Integrating data from heterogeneous sensors (e.g., cameras, LiDAR, IMUs, thermal images) to build robust, complementary representations of the environment for improved situational awareness and decision-making.
[Notice]. We are always looking for self-motivated and passionate students to join our team. If you’re interested, please visit the Joining Us page for more information.
